I’ve been working on a small project called VideoDownloader, and I wanted to share it here.
It’s a Windows desktop app I built using Python, yt-dlp, and FFmpeg. The idea was to make downloading videos and extracting audio as simple as possible.
Some of the features include:
Downloading videos in up to 4K (when available)
Extracting audio as MP3
Queueing multiple downloads
Dark mode
Choosing where files are saved
I’m still looking for ways to improve it, so I’d really appreciate it if you checked it out and shared your thoughts.
Here’s the GitHub:
If you find it useful, feel free to leave a ⭐!
I’d also love to hear what you think or what features you’d like to see added.
Thanks for checking it out! 🙌
