If you are reading this, I am officially stepping out of my code editor and into the blogging world! My name is Amna, and Iβm a passionate web developer who spends way too much time debugging CSS, fighting with React states, and building fun little apps.
Iβve been writing code, building projects, and learning new tech stacks every single day, but I realized something important: building cool things is only half the fun. Sharing the journey makes it 10x better.
So, I finally decided to set up my profile here on Dev.to. Consider this post my official "Hello World!" wave to the developer community. β¨
Where It All Started π»
Like many of you, my journey into tech started with a lot of curiosity and a few too many open tabs trying to figure out what flex-direction: column actually does.
Step by step, I dove into HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and eventually modern frameworks like React and Tailwind CSS.i started from full-stack web applications and UI clones. Every bug I faced taught me something new, and every project pushed me a little closer to becoming a confident developer.
Why I'm Writing Here π
Why did I start blogging? Simple:
To document my growth: Looking back at old code is the best way to see how far you've come.
To help fellow beginners: The tech journey can feel overwhelming. If I can make someone else's debugging session a little easier or inspire a beginner to keep going, I'll be happy.
To connect with amazing devs: The developer community is one of the most supportive groups out there, and I want to be a part of it!
What's Coming Next? π
You can expect regular posts from me moving forward! Here is a sneak peek of what I'll be sharing:
"How I Built..." breakdowns of my favorite web projects and apps.
Tricks and tips I learn while working with React, JavaScript, and Tailwind.
Real, unfiltered stories about crushing tricky bugs and surviving the developer grind.
If you are also a beginner, a seasoned dev, or just someone who loves building things for the web, letβs connect! Drop a comment below, say hi, or let me know what kind of tech topics you enjoy reading about.
Until the next bug fix, happy coding! π©βπ»β¨
