How can you be like the type of person you would like to meet? I have been thinking of people that inspire me and what they have in common. They all have these character traits: courageous, persistant, self-confident and optimistic. Analyzing who inspires you can show you what kind of person you want to be.
So lets break it down into action steps you can do to get closer to your βideal selfβ:
- Write down the people that inspire you most
- Find their common character traits
- Pick out a few traits you want to have
- Write these traits down somewhere you can revisit them regularly
- Analyze your behaviour by e.g. looking back to your week every Sunday and ask yourself if you acted accordingly to your desired traits
- If you didnβt act like your ideal self, write down what you can do to match it and act like that next time
Who inspires you and which character traits are you working on? Have a nice day. :)

A,
I think this post begs the question.
WHO would you like to meet? Who do you admire?
A lot of people, to name a few: Derek Banas(YouTuber) for his coding knowledge, Emma Watson for her self-confidence and social engagement, my great-aunt for being a sunshine personality... What about you? :)
Interesting.
If we are talking 'Live or Dead' then one would be Charles Darwin for his amazing travels. Others would include Abraham Lincoln to ask about his struggles and Ray Kurzweil for his thoughts on computers and atheism. There is not enough time. ;)
Just a thought: Wouldn't trying to be the person we'd like to meet end up in a race condition?
Could you specify what you mean? π
Ex: A wants to meet B, B wants to meet A. Now if A goes to become B, once he's B, he would want to meet A and thus become A.
(Inspired by Finite Automata)
Haha Ok I see π
Thanks for this @anja π
Cool idea, it's like a spin-off of the golden rule. Thanks for sharing!
