I'm 17 and I built the prep site for the exam I sit in June

I'm Artem, 17, a school student in Astana, Kazakhstan. In June 2027 I sit the ENT, the national university entrance exam. The score decides whether the state pays for your degree.

The prep sites I tried drill you with tests. You get a question wrong, see the right letter and move on. I wanted something that would explain the topic I keep failing, so I built it: biik.kz. First commit on 25 September 2026, public launch on 12 October.

What it does

  • A free diagnostic that shows how many points you are short of a state grant.
  • A daily plan built from the task types you get wrong, following the official exam specification.
  • 227 short narrated video lessons. Every spoken word is on the screen.
  • A mock exam in the ENT format every month.
  • Mistakes come back on days 1, 3 and 7.
  • An AI tutor that explains a wrong answer and can read a photo of a problem.

How it is built

  • Next.js on Cloudflare Workers. There is no database: accounts and progress are JSON files in R2.
  • Answers are checked on the server, so the answer keys never reach the browser.
  • A .kz domain may not point at hosting outside Kazakhstan, so there is a small proxy server in Almaty in front of Cloudflare.
  • Payment is by Kaspi QR, the way people here pay for everything.
  • I write the code with AI coding tools. The project has about 380 automated tests, and I add a test before I fix a bug, because otherwise I break the same thing twice.

Where it stands

One paying learner, from the closed test. Three free days, then 4 990 or 9 990 tenge a month (about 10 or 20 dollars). The interface is in Russian, a Kazakh version is in progress, and there is an English summary at biik.kz/about. Sentry for Startups and PostHog for Startups accepted the project.

Before this I ran ads for my mother's studio and built her a booking bot and a CRM.

I use Biik for my own prep, so I will know in June whether it works. If you have built anything for exam prep, I would like to hear what kept students coming back after the first week.
