My Rust journey

That is an awesome transition! Moving from the friendly, high-level simplicity of Python into the rigorous, high-performance world of Rust is a bold leap, but it's one of the most rewarding journeys a developer can take.

And that ownership model—ah, welcome to the club! It’s almost like learning a completely new way of thinking about memory, safety, and how software actually runs under the hood. It can definitely feel like fighting the compiler at first, but once it starts working with you instead of against you, it feels like leveling up your entire programming superpower.

Pairing that with the Zed editor, too—lightning-fast, gorgeous, and built in Rust itself.

What kind of projects or small programs have you been tinkering with as you navigate ownership? We’d love to hear how your journey is going so far!
