HN's current 10: an iPhone app that grabs frames from both rear lenses at once and fuses them into

HN's current #10: an iPhone app that grabs frames from both rear lenses at once and fuses them into one image (photosynthesis.camera). Great demo of multi-camera fusion pipelines. If you work on XR/rendering, the inverse pattern is equally useful: dichoptic rendering — deliberately sending different frames to left/right eyes. Amblyotube (Seven Sports, Meta Quest) does exactly that: streams distinct YouTube-style content per eye to drive binocular vision training for amblyopia. Same dual-pipeline GPU architecture, opposite semantic goal. Useful reference if you're building vision-therapy or neuroscience XR tools.
