I run several Claude Code sessions at once, often with subagents, and I kept losing track of which one was working, which one was waiting for me and which one wanted approval. So I built a native Mac app around them: Atalay's Terminal.
What it does
- Every Claude Code session sits on a live orbit map, coloured by state: working, waiting for you, asking for approval.
- Subagents, tool calls, the files they touch, web research, tokens and spend update as they happen.
- Each chat has its own window, but the session lives in the background: close the window or quit the app and Claude keeps working. The window comes back with its history.
- Dev servers and test watchers fly around the orbit as cars and park when they're idle.
- Friends, messages, and XP for the time you actively work, from Academy Student up to Kage, with a weekly leaderboard.
How it's built
- Swift (SwiftPM) and AppKit, with SwiftTerm for the terminals.
- Every chat and terminal runs in a detached
/usr/bin/screensession, which is why they survive the app quitting. - The dashboard is a web page in a
WKWebView; the orbit map is three.js. - It reads Claude Code's own files in
~/.claude, read only. None of it leaves your Mac; the README lists exactly what the small server behind friends and levels receives.
Try it
Free and open source (MIT), macOS 13+, Apple Silicon and Intel.

I'd love your feedback, especially if you run a lot of sessions in parallel. If you try it, add me as a friend: click the logo at the top left, then FRIENDS, then owen watts#8049.
