I Built a Collection of Free Online Generators (Mostly Because I Needed Them)

A couple of months ago I noticed something funny about my browsing habits.

Whenever I was working on a project — whether it was writing something, testing a layout, or just brainstorming ideas — I kept searching for tiny tools. Random name generators, text converters, random idea generators, things like that.

Each tool solved a tiny problem, but finding them wasn’t always smooth. Some sites were slow, others were full of ads, and sometimes the tool itself was buried under five different popups.

So I started building a small collection of simple generators myself.

The idea wasn’t to build anything complicated — just a clean place where you can open a page, generate something quickly, and move on.

You can check it out here:
toolgenerators.com

The site currently includes a mix of different generators. Some are useful for writers or brainstorming ideas, some are fun random generators, and others help with text formatting.

For example, here are a few that people seem to enjoy:

The goal is to slowly expand the collection so it becomes a kind of toolbox for small everyday tasks on the internet.

Some generators are helpful when you're writing or building something. Others are just fun ways to get ideas when you're stuck.

And honestly, some of them exist simply because I thought they would be interesting to make.

If you like experimenting with random generators or simple online tools, feel free to explore the site and see what you find.

And if you have ideas for generators that would be useful, I’d definitely love to hear them.
