What surprises you most about the community builders program?
All of the Community Builders that I talked to or met - they have the same mindset and understanding of wanting to help the AWS Community to get better at building. Everyone is very passionated about AWS & everything involved.
What’s your background and your experience with AWS?
I've done a cloud migration of an on-premise application to a SaaS offering, I've developped a serverless applications and event driven services on AWS. I'm passionated about CI/CD and automation as well as "You build it, you own it" mindset.
What’s the biggest benefit you see from the program?
Getting to know people, sharing experiences and learning from others. SWAG is a nice add-on, but the AWS led training or knowledge sharing sessions are priceless.
What’s the next swag item that you would like to get?
I'm still missing a Community Builders Backpack - I'd love to get one that I can use out-door and that is waterproof :-)
What are you eating for dinner today? Share the recipe!
We Germans often eat bread with ham, cheese, butter and other sneaky things on it ;-)
Hard to share the recipe as I usually buy the bread instead of making it on my own.
Is there anything else you would like to say about the community builders program in 2022?
The program is an amazing thing for myself and gave me a lot of insights into AWS but more importantly it helped me grow my network by a lot meaningful connections. I am looking forward for more great collaboration in 2023!
The AWS team around Jason, Lily, Taylor, Ernesto and others are just AWESOME and investing a lot of their time into making the program work for us - THANKS for that!
