We work with HTTP status codes every day, but imagine if APIs could talk, HTTP status codes would sound like this:
200 – You’re good. Come right in.
202 — I got your request. Give me a moment.
301 – We’ve moved. Update your endpoint.
400 — Nah… this request isn’t it bro.
401 — Hold on. Who are you?
403 — You’re authenticated, but I can’t let you in here.
404 — Whatever you’re looking for? It’s not here.
500 — Something went wrong. Not your fault. Probably.
