When I started blogging for the first time I had zero expectations. I just wanted to "be active" in the developer community so that companies would see me as a good hire because I was staying up to date.

But then I started to grow a following on social media and companies started to approach me with technical writing opportunities that were paid. That's when I realised the untapped potential.
