I'm a MERN stack developer from India. This is my honest job search story.

Here's what nobody tells you about being a fresher developer in India.

I have 3 to 4 live deployed apps, 400+ commits across my projects, real users across multiple countries, and a full-stack skill set.

But I'm still searching.

Not because I lack skills. But because the system is brutal for freshers:

"0-1 years experience required" — but how do you get experience without a first job?
Unpaid internships that don't cover even basic expenses
Assessments that expire before you can take them
Applications that disappear into silence

Here's what I've learned

Consistency beats talent. Showing up every day matters more than being perfect.

Your projects are your resume. I let my code speak.

Rejection is data, not failure.

The right company is looking for someone exactly like you. You just haven't found each other yet.

I'm not posting this for sympathy.

I'm posting this because if you're a fresher going through the same thing — you're not alone.
