Google Patches 26 Security Flaws in Chrome Stable Channel Update

Summary

Google released a Chrome update fixing 26 security vulnerabilities, including two critical use-after-free flaws in Shared Tab Groups and WebGL that allow arbitrary code execution. The patch also fixes high-severity issues in the V8 engine, GPU, and FileSystem components across Windows, Mac, and Linux.

Take Action:

Update Google Chrome to version 152.0.7977.75/.76 for Windows and Mac and 152.0.7977.75 for Linux. Also update your Microsoft Edge, Brave, Opera, Vivaldi, and other Chromium-based browsers to latest patches when released by their vendors. This patch is smaller than the previous but still has critical flaws that will be exploited soon. Don't ignore this, your tabs reopen after a browser update.
