I Documented My Solidity Learning Journey So You Can Learn It Too

When I started learning Solidity, I wanted to do more than just follow tutorials.

I wanted to write code, experiment with different concepts, make mistakes, figure out why things worked (or didn't), and document what I learned along the way.

Over time, those experiments and notes started becoming something worth sharing.

So I decided to make my Solidity learning notes public, alongside the practice code in my GitHub repository.

What's the goal?

Make learning Solidity easier, faster, and more accessible.

Rather than keeping everything in my personal notes, I want to organize what I learn into a resource that other developers can use to understand concepts, review examples, and experiment with the code themselves.

I'm approaching this as a learner, not someone claiming to know everything about Solidity.

The notes grow out of my own practice, discoveries, and mistakes. And hopefully, sharing that process will help someone else avoid a few of the same struggles.

Who is this for?

  • Developers starting their journey with Solidity.
  • People exploring smart contracts and Web3 development.
  • Learners who prefer practical code examples alongside explanations.
  • Anyone who wants to learn alongside someone documenting the process.

This is an ongoing project, and there's still plenty to learn and improve.

If you spot an error, have a suggestion, or want to contribute, I'd love to hear from you.

Learn something. Build something. Document it. Share it.

Maybe the thing you write down today will save someone else hours of confusion tomorrow. 🤝
