How I Built Blue Heaven's Website Using OpenCart and GoDaddy CDN ๐Ÿš€

Iโ€™m Anand Tiwari, the founder of Blue Heaven
โ€” a local bakery brand in Bhopal, India that delivers happiness through delicious cakes, flowers, and gifts.

In 2024, I decided to rebuild our website. My goal was to create a fast, mobile-friendly eCommerce experience โ€” similar to big brands โ€” but with our own unique branding and identity.

Tech Stack Overview

SEO Optimization: Manual H1, H2, H3 updates with keywords like โ€œOnline Cake Delivery in Bhopal,โ€ โ€œCake Shop in Bhopal,โ€ and โ€œBest Bakery in Bhopal.โ€

Challenges Faced

Slow load time due to large product images โ€” solved by enabling GoDaddy CDN + image compression.

Duplicate meta tags โ€” fixed by setting a consistent meta title prefix and suffix.

Checkout location issue โ€” restricted to Bhopal only for accurate delivery zone.

Results

Within a few months, the website started ranking on Googleโ€™s 4th page without paid SEO. Targeted keyword is online cake delivery in Bhopal
With planned local citations, directory listings, and manual SEO work, Iโ€™m confident it will reach Googleโ€™s 1st page within 2 months.

Key Learnings

A strong eCommerce backend can still compete with Shopify or WooCommerce if configured well.

Manual SEO + Local Citations can outperform auto tools.

Consistency in branding (NAP, Meta, and Schema) is crucial.

Final Thoughts

If youโ€™re planning to build a local business website, donโ€™t just chase trends โ€” focus on speed, SEO, and user trust.
