Hi, I would like to know which are your favorite options to choose a domain and a host provider, and why. I'm starting a new project and I pretend to choose the best options.
No matter if the domain and host are different providers, I'm searching for relevant characteristics.

i dont think there is a specific thing, it depends on your needs, if you have a small website with small traffic, you could just use heroku or other like it, or if your website is a little bigger you could go with aws its more flexible. its also depends on your budget and your programming language, there is many things that you must consider to say that this is the best hosting provider. don't tired your mind and think about the best one, just take what you need

for a small eshop you can go with digital ocean its great, and in the future when you start getting more traffic and orders you can easily switch to aws.
If you’re looking for an inexpensive Domain Registrar, Namecheap is about as cheap as they come. Godaddy is another option but is going to be a bunch more expensive.
For Hosting Providers, it certainly depends on the language stack you’re using. Namecheap has a shared hosting service for a great price and is capable of hosting a variety of stacks. Heroku is made to be extremely easy to deploy using their CLI and scales pretty well but can get expensive pretty quickly.
Firebase is another good option for both domain registration and hosting, but you’ll find that it is a bit less commonly used. It certainly offers a lot of features and can be extremely great if you know what you’re doing, but it also has a bit smaller community just because it’s less common.
