How to Calculate Lead Time in Project Management (With a Free Calculator)

Total Lead Time = 3 days + 6 hours

If you only counted writing time, you'd have planned for 1.5 days and missed the actual delivery window by double.

Lead Time vs. Cycle Time Don't Mix These Up

Identify bottlenecks high pre-processing time means your intake or prioritization process needs work
