The University of North Texas is expanding its AI and advanced analytics capabilities through a $20 million gift commitment from Anuradha and Vikas Sinha.
The contribution will establish the Anuradha and Vikas Sinha College of Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Analytics.
From a technology perspective, the interdisciplinary structure is particularly interesting.
The college will bring together areas including:
Artificial intelligence
Intelligent systems
Data analytics
Cybersecurity
Health informatics
Information science
Learning technologies
It will also include an Applied Artificial Intelligence and Data Science Institute intended to support interdisciplinary research and industry partnerships.
The six permanent endowments will support scholarships, professorships, leadership, entrepreneurship, advanced research, and emerging technologies.
