I'm currently developing a diagram of influencing factors. At the same time, I'm working on a tool that ensures perfect contrast compliance and calibration using WCAG, APCA standards and OKLCH for color correctness.
After studying the formulas, I decided to build a matrix for clear visual testing of compliance with contrast ratio, delta, and color distinguishability standards. For the initial test, I selected some of the most popular color palettes: Solarized Dark, Dracula (non-Pro), and Monokai. I was genuinely surprised by how significantly the results differed from my expectations.
Solarized Dark: APCA
Solarized Dark: WCAG
Solarized Dark: Delta
