This week we rolled out a series of performance updates, localization improvements, and stricter AI generation safety nets across CAPTD to help photographers publish cleaner content faster. From shrinking bundle sizes on mobile to preventing hallucinated details in captions, here is what went live.
Shipped
- Localized Homepage & SEO Meta Tags: We shipped fully localized meta tags, hreflang, and canonical setups across all 10 supported locales, alongside a translated cookie banner, improved terminology consistency for French, Japanese, and Russian, and an anonymous export counter.
Localized homepage and hreflang setup across all 10 supported languages.
In-App Browser Support: The complete upload-to-copy workflow is now fully functional inside Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook in-app browsers, backed by clipboard fallbacks, automatic file type inference, and PostHog error tracking.
Video Workspace Performance Wins: Visitors on mobile devices will notice a much faster experience thanks to on-demand i18n catalogue splitting—which dropped our main bundle size from 345 KB down to 187 KB gzipped—and bypassing ffmpeg entirely for small MP4 files under 32 MB.
Faster mobile video workflows with lighter bundles and streamlined MP4 handling.
- Snapshot Workspace Improvements: We introduced a robust hashtag quality checker to filter out garbled tags, a personal-claims filter to prevent AI-invented facts, and brought the dedicated Story mode toggle directly into the Snapshot workspace.
