Hey everyone!
I've been working on a personal project called GoLock, a desktop password manager built with Go.
The motivation was pretty simple: I'm terrible at remembering passwords. With so many accounts and services, keeping track of all my credentials became a bit of a headache. So I decided to build my own solution.
GoLock allows you to store your credentials in a locally encrypted vault, focusing on security, privacy, and simplicity.
Here are some of the technologies and features I've worked with:
- Go (Golang) – Application logic and backend.
- Wails – Desktop application framework.
- AES-256-GCM – Data encryption.
- Argon2id – Key derivation.
- Local storage, keeping user data under their own control.
- Minimalist interface with dark and light themes.
The project is still evolving, and I have plenty of ideas for future improvements.
I'd really appreciate any feedback, suggestions, or thoughts you might have.
And honestly, I'd also love to get some stars on GitHub! It would mean a lot to see people supporting something I've spent time building.
