Experiments with JIMP

Over Christmas I had some time on my hands and decided to revisit a project I was working on a couple of years ago.

Inspired by some poster art I had seen ( I wish I could remember where to attribute ) I decided to use the JIMP library to essentially pixilate images in interesting ways. JIMP gave the ingredients to find colour averages over sections of images from there I converted these values to SVGs:
