I began coding because...
I didn't think I could: my first computing course took place in a room of 200 students with the instructor yelling his lecture into a microphone...very limited assistance for the uninitiated...but then that rush of joy when a seemingly impossible program not only compiled but then RAN (mostly correctly) WITHOUT ERRORS!!!!

customizing JavaScript tutorials for introducing kids to coding
I'm excited about...
working with the next generation of coders...an after school program for 10 - 14 year olds
My advice for other women who code is...
always do something orthogonal every day
