Affiliate content is a useful test of a publishing workflow: the image, headline, destination and disclosure all need to agree. Automating the export is only one part of the job.
I'm the founder of PinOps. I recorded a beginner tutorial that shows the complete workflow, and these are the product decisions behind it.
1. Start with source content, not an empty canvas
A batch begins with source URLs and explicit settings. The page needs to support the recommendation the Pin makes; a specific product benefit should lead to content explaining that benefit.
2. Treat designs as drafts for review
Different layouts are useful when they communicate different angles. A new color alone doesn't give a reader a new reason to visit. The results view keeps the generated design and its assigned template together so the user can review or change them.
3. Keep generated copy editable
The title, description, keywords and alt text remain editable. Before approving a Pin, the user can check that the image, copy and destination tell the same story. For affiliate content, the disclosure and program terms matter too.
A readable headline and an accurate destination are more useful than a long string of keywords. AI output is a starting point, not a reason to skip review.
4. Keep approval separate from scheduling
Generating a design should not automatically mean publishing it. Review the batch, confirm relevant boards and links, then add approved Pins to the publishing queue. Choose a pace supported by useful content rather than treating a daily count as a growth guarantee.
5. Close the loop with outcomes
Impressions measure visibility. Saves indicate return interest. Outbound clicks show visits to the destination. Looking at these signals over time gives the next batch a better starting point.
The screenshots show the actual application. Historical examples are not promised results or proof that software alone caused an outcome.

The principle applies beyond Pinterest: automate repetitive work while keeping the recommendation, review and destination coherent.
