To solve this, I built CraftCalc — a suite of 33 professional, client-side material calculators.
What CraftCalc Solves:
- Flooring & Tile Waste: Unlike basic square footage math, the Flooring Calculator and Tile Calculator apply real-world packaging rules and cutting waste buffers (10% to 20% for herringbone/diagonal).
- Paint & Primer Coverage: The Paint Coverage Estimator calculates exact coats and deduces windows and doors.
- Concrete, Masonry & Landscaping: Dedicated tools for concrete slabs, 80lb bags, crushed gravel tons, and topsoil cubic yards.
