I Built CSVAll.com — A Simple Website for Viewing and Converting CSV, QIF, IIF, OFX, QFX, and QBO Files

I recently built a new website called CSVAll.com, and I wanted to share it with the dev.to community.

The idea behind the website is simple: many people work with financial, accounting, and spreadsheet files every day, but converting those files can be frustrating. Sometimes you receive a QIF file from a bank, an OFX or QFX file from financial software, an IIF file from QuickBooks, or a CSV file that needs to be converted into another format.

That is why I created CSVAll.com — a website focused on making CSV viewing and financial file conversion easier.

You can visit the main website here:

https://csvall.com/

Why I Built CSVAll.com

CSV files are everywhere. Developers, accountants, small business owners, freelancers, and finance teams all use CSV files in different ways.

But the problem is that CSV files are often connected to many other financial formats, such as:

  • QIF
  • IIF
  • OFX
  • QFX
  • QBO

These formats are commonly used by banks, accounting tools, bookkeeping software, and financial applications. However, not everyone wants to install desktop software just to view or convert a file.

I built CSVAll.com to provide simple online tools for people who need quick file conversion and CSV viewing without a complicated setup.

CSV Viewer Online

One of the first tools I added is the CSV Viewer.

You can use it here:

https://csvall.com/csv-viewer

The CSV Viewer helps users open and inspect CSV files online. This is useful when you want to quickly check your data, preview rows and columns, or make sure a file is formatted correctly before importing it into another system.

A good CSV viewer is especially helpful for people working with exports from banks, accounting platforms, e-commerce stores, CRMs, analytics tools, or custom applications.

Instead of opening a large CSV file in a spreadsheet program, users can use the online CSV viewer to review the file more easily.

QIF to CSV Converter

Another important tool on CSVAll.com is the QIF to CSV converter.

You can find it here:

https://csvall.com/qif-to-csv

QIF stands for Quicken Interchange Format. It is often used by financial software to store transactions, account data, and banking information.

However, CSV is usually easier to open, edit, analyze, and import into other tools.

The QIF to CSV converter helps users convert QIF files into a more accessible CSV format. This can be useful for accountants, bookkeepers, business owners, or anyone who wants to work with their financial transaction data in spreadsheets or other applications.

IIF to CSV Converter

CSVAll.com also includes an IIF to CSV converter.

Here is the tool:

https://csvall.com/iif-to-csv

IIF files are commonly associated with QuickBooks. They can contain accounting data such as transactions, lists, accounts, and other bookkeeping information.

The problem is that IIF files are not always easy to read or edit manually.

By converting IIF to CSV, users can view the data in a simpler table format. This makes it easier to review, clean, analyze, or prepare the data for other accounting workflows.

OFX to CSV Converter

I also added an OFX to CSV converter.

You can use it here:

https://csvall.com/ofx-to-csv

OFX stands for Open Financial Exchange. Many banks and financial institutions provide transaction downloads in OFX format.

While OFX is useful for financial software, CSV is often more convenient for everyday users.

The OFX to CSV converter helps users turn bank transaction data into spreadsheet-friendly CSV files. This can be useful when reviewing expenses, organizing transactions, preparing reports, or importing financial data into other systems.

QFX to CSV Converter

Another converter available on CSVAll.com is the QFX to CSV converter.

Here is the link:

https://csvall.com/qfx-to-csv

QFX files are often used by Quicken and financial institutions. Like OFX files, they usually contain banking or transaction data.

The QFX to CSV converter makes it easier to extract that transaction data into a clean CSV format. Once converted, users can open the data in spreadsheet software, accounting tools, reporting systems, or custom applications.

This is especially useful for anyone who wants more control over their financial data.

QBO to CSV Converter

CSVAll.com also provides a QBO to CSV converter.

You can access it here:

https://csvall.com/qbo-to-csv

QBO files are commonly related to QuickBooks bank feeds and online banking data. Many users need to review QBO data outside of QuickBooks or convert it into a spreadsheet format.

The QBO to CSV converter helps users transform QBO files into CSV files so they can inspect and manage their transaction data more easily.

This tool can be useful for accountants, bookkeepers, finance teams, and small business owners who work with QuickBooks-related file formats.

CSV to QBO Converter

Besides converting financial files into CSV, I also added tools that convert CSV files into accounting formats.

One of those tools is the CSV to QBO converter.

You can find it here:

https://csvall.com/csv-to-qbo

This tool is useful when users have transaction data in CSV format and want to convert it into QBO format.

For example, someone may have downloaded transactions from a bank, payment processor, or another system as a CSV file. If they need that data in QBO format, this converter can help prepare it for accounting workflows.

CSV to QIF Converter

CSVAll.com also has a CSV to QIF converter.

Here is the page:

https://csvall.com/csv-to-qif

This tool helps users convert CSV files into QIF format. It can be useful for people who need to import transaction data into software that supports QIF files.

CSV is great for editing and organizing data, but some financial tools still require QIF format. This converter helps bridge that gap.

Who Can Use CSVAll.com?

I built CSVAll.com for anyone who works with CSV and financial file formats, including:

  • Developers working with financial data
  • Accountants and bookkeepers
  • Small business owners
  • Freelancers
  • Finance teams
  • People migrating data between accounting tools
  • Users who need to view or convert bank transaction files

The goal is to make file conversion simple, accessible, and easy to use.

Final Thoughts

Building CSVAll.com has been a practical project focused on solving a real problem: making CSV and financial file conversion easier.

Many people do not want complicated software just to convert a QIF, IIF, OFX, QFX, or QBO file. They want a simple tool that helps them get the job done quickly.

That is the purpose of CSVAll.com.

I would love to hear feedback from developers, accountants, finance users, and anyone who works with CSV or financial file formats.

If you have suggestions for new converters or improvements, feel free to share them.
