Hey you, reading this πŸ‘€ are you a human or a bot?

A quick check on the profile of several thousands of followers made me somewhat suspicious: lots of accounts with a profile picture but a "404 bio not found" and no posts. Why? Are those fake accounts or just people who didn't bother?

Do you also have many followers you'd call "suspicious" and want to get a better understanding? Help me out here. I'll publish the results at the end...

So, you, reading this, do you happen to identify as a human 🧍🏼, or any other biological creature 😹?

If so, assuming a bot would probably not do that, would you bother hitting one of the like buttons here to help getting an idea of who's around?

You can say hi βœοΈπŸ‘‡, in case, while you're at it...

I have 4500 and growing, I don't really understand who those, I recently posted a blog and in several days views are still <25 - with 4500 subscribers? Uh?

BTW, put tags to hook into broader audience, for this post you can also add discuss, which usually skyrockets your post.

didn't add discuss to only reach "followers", so.. the real ones must be on holidays or other platforms 🌴πŸ₯₯

Haha, I'm as human as they come, and yeah, I've noticed the same thing with all the empty bios. Always wondered about those

yeah... not really shedding a great light on the platform, is it? Perhaps if we had a separate counter for "real people" vs "everyone, incl. bots", could be interesting for some more natural engagement...
