Windows 10 or Windows 11? Which one is for you?
Is windows 11 really better than 10? Should I upgrade to windows 11? what are the disadvantages of windows 11? Is windows 11 slower than windows 10? Is windows 11 better for gaming?_

I can go on and on but the questions wont end anytime soon, so after doing a lot of research online and using windows 11 myself I made this blog to save your time!!

Although Microsoft never wanted to extend the windows series after the 10th edition for some reason they decided to do so but it may have not proven to be a very wise decision. According to the recent statistics released by Microsoft itself only 23% of windows users have upgraded to windows 11 while the other 75% users are still on windows 10 and those numbers are huge compared to the previous upgrades. So, what is the reason many users are hesitating to upgrade their OS to the latest version?!

The reasons are listed below:

CONS

1. SYSTEM REQUIREMENT

The system requirement for windows 11 is way much more higher than any of the previous windows. The memory required is 4 Gb which is almost 3x than that required for windows 10 and since many people still use very old machines it is not supported for them. Also windows 11 requires TPM 2 for high end security but still it is not supported by many other systems or I would say the majority of system that uses the Windows OS.

2. GAMING

Although windows 11 was designed to be better for gaming than windows 10 but there has been some reporting of fps drops while gaming which is now officially been recognized by Microsoft and which might be fixed in the following updates

3. The change in the OG windows UI

For some reason Microsoft changed the UI in windows 11 and for many users it felt very unfamiliar and for someone who professionally works on a pc on a daily basis it increases the time taken and takes a huge amount of time for the brain to completely adapt the new graphics on the screen. Microsoft tried the same for windows 8 which backfired but still Microsoft took the risk and now it looks like again it was a flop.

1. Security

There might be many cons in windows 11 but the one thing that impresses me as someone who cares about privacy is its security. Microsoft have introduced many modern and proven security features in windows 11 to improve its overall security.
