Hello there, tech enthusiasts, developers, and writers! We're excited to invite you to our Hacktoberfest celebration. π It's that time of the year when open-source enthusiasts come together to contribute, learn, and grow. Whether you're a seasoned developer or someone passionate about tech who's new to coding, we have a special place for you.
What is Hacktoberfest?
Hacktoberfest is an annual event where the global open-source community collaborates on open-source projects. It's an opportunity for individuals of all skill levels to contribute to the world of open source.
I'm Abhay, and I'm excited to share my Hacktoberfest 2023 journey as a maintainer. This isn't my first Hacktoberfest rodeo; I've had the privilege of Contributing in previous years, but this year is truly special, as I am a maintainer for a repo. You can find me on GitHub here.
Our Open Source Programming Blog
We're proud to introduce our open-source programming blog repository hosted on GitHub. Our blog covers a wide range of programming topics, tutorials, best practices, and insights. We believe in the power of sharing knowledge and building a supportive community.
Our blog is built using Jekyll, a static site generator, which means you don't need extensive coding skills to contribute. We welcome writers, tech enthusiasts, and anyone passionate about programming.
What contributions are we looking for ?
My goal for this year is to focus on getting as much as Low-Code and Non-Code contributions. So a blog that covers how-to's, tutorials, guides, and technical writing is a great way I believe. The blog topics will be the issues, pick any, and one of our maintainers will assign it and you can start contributing. Refer to Contribution Guidelines.

Is there a gitlab? My work blocks github for some apparent reason, so gitlab would be nice. Plus you can just merge them afterward or something? B/C i am trying to do all no-code this year (except for like basic html, typescript, markdown, or stuff that you need to write something) as a challenge to myself.
Sorry, there is no GitLab unfortunately. If there is any way to accept PR from the GitLab to the same repo of GitHub do let me know I'll try. My aim is to get newbies started with the open source through low-code
