DevCleaner is a macOS app that cleans developer caches like Xcode DerivedData, simulators, node_modules and Docker data.
Version 1.16.1 fixes one annoying bug. With automatic cleanup turned on, DevCleaner cleans up after you quit Xcode or another dev app. In some cases the app then got stuck on "Cleaning" and stopped responding.
What changed:
- The stuck "Cleaning" state is now cleared safely.
- A cleanup that runs longer than 10 minutes stops itself.
- Heavy disk work moved off the main thread, so the window stays responsive while it scans and deletes.
- Each automatic cleanup step is now logged, which makes problems like this easier to trace.
If you already have DevCleaner, Sparkle will offer the update (or use Check for Updates). Otherwise download it from https://devcleaner.app/.
