Arms of God is a roguelike where weapon choice makes or breaks your run. After testing every weapon across multiple difficulty tiers, here's where things stand.
S-Tier
- Celestial Reaper — Highest single-target DPS in the game. Slightly slow swing speed but the damage per hit more than compensates.
- Inferno Staff — AoE that clears rooms faster than anything else. Essential for speedruns.
A-Tier
- Void Blade — Great crit rate, fast combos. Falls off slightly in NG+ but dominates the base game.
- Storm Bow — Best ranged option. Loses to Inferno Staff in pure clear speed but much safer for boss fights.
The combo system matters more than individual weapons
Pairing weapons with complementary blessings is where the real optimization happens. Celestial Reaper + Bloodlust Blessing breaks the game. Inferno Staff + Ice Nova Blessing gives you crowd control on top of AoE.
