One Proxy Per Account: The Unsexy Rule That Prevents Most Telegram Bans
Everyone asks about warm-up schedules and message copy. Almost nobody asks about IPs. In my experience running multi-account outreach, the IP setup decides more bans than any other single factor.
What actually happens on one IP
Telegram links accounts by IP quietly. One account starts spamming, gets reported, gets banned. The accounts sharing its IP inherit the suspicion. I have watched three healthy accounts die within 48 hours because they shared an IP with one careless one. After that, bans arrived one per day, like clockwork.
The rule
One account, one dedicated proxy. SOCKS5, private, never shared, never free. A free proxy list is a ban waiting to happen - those IPs are burned by hundreds of spammers before you.
What to check monthly per proxy:
- IP reputation (blacklist checks take 30 seconds)
- Geolocation match with the account's stated city
- Speed - a proxy that times out mid-session creates reconnect patterns that look bot-like

Honest limits
Proxies do not save bad behavior. 100 identical DMs per day from a clean IP still gets banned, just a day later. Proxy hygiene buys headroom for normal outreach volumes. It does not buy immunity for spam.
And proxies cost money. Five accounts means five proxies, roughly $2-4 each per month. Anyone telling you to run 50 accounts on two proxies is selling you future bans.
How this scales
Pairing proxies 1:1 with accounts is easy at five accounts and painful at fifty without tooling. We automated the pairing, health checks, and reassignment in 24GO, and wrote up the scaling side here: https://www.24go.site/blog/scale-telegram-lead-gen-without-bans?locale=en
What is your proxy setup right now - one per account, or shared?
