It's not much yet, but it's growing. The key is consistency and iteration.
How to Start
- Identify a problem — What do developers struggle with?
- Create a solution — Build a tool that solves it
- Package it nicely — Good presentation matters
- Price it fairly — Don't undervalue your work
- Market it — Share on social media and communities
Tools I Use
- Gumroad — Sell digital products
- GitHub — Host open-source versions
- Dev.to — Write articles and tutorials
- Twitter — Share progress and insights
Results After 3 Months
- Total sales: 7
- Total revenue: $65
- Monthly passive income: ~$13
- Time invested: 40 hours
The ROI is excellent. 40 hours of work generates $13/month forever.
