Most property listings in India are written in a hurry: a WhatsApp forward, a photo from the owner, a price typed in between two calls. AI can make the writing faster and clearer. It cannot know the facts for you. Here is the workflow I would give any non-coder who wants to try it, and the checks that stay with the human.
What AI is good at in a listing
- Turning a messy list of facts into a clean paragraph, in English and in Hindi.
- Writing short versions for different buyers: a first-time buyer, a rental seeker, someone comparing two areas.
- Making one WhatsApp message and one 30-second video script from the same facts.
- Catching vague words like "best", "prime" or "premium" that buyers skip past.
What AI should never decide
- The price, the carpet area, the floor, the parking, the possession date. These come from the owner's papers and your own visit.
- Whether a project is RERA registered. Find the registration number on the state regulator's own website yourself, and copy it by hand.
- Title, approvals and any legal status. Those belong with a lawyer.
- Any promise about returns or appreciation. If the listing needs a promise to sell, cut the promise.
A simple workflow
- Write the facts as a plain list first. For each fact, note where it came from: the sale agreement, the builder's brochure, your site visit.
- Ask the tool for a draft that uses only that list. Say it plainly: do not add any fact that is not in the list, and write [CHECK] wherever something is missing.
- Read the draft against your list, line by line. Every [CHECK] is a call you still have to make.
- Ask for the Hindi version as a separate piece of writing, not a translation with guesses mixed in.
- Save the prompt and your checked list. Next time you change only the facts.
A prompt you can copy
You are writing a property listing for an Indian buyer. Use only the facts below. If a fact is missing, write [CHECK] instead of guessing. No promises about returns. Keep it under 120 words.

Where people go wrong
- They paste the AI draft as it is. One invented amenity costs more trust than the time it saved.
- They let the tool type a registration number. Never accept a number you did not copy from a source yourself.
- They skip the disclaimer. Anything about investment is information, not financial advice. Tell the buyer to verify RERA registration before they commit money.
Why this matters for careers too
The same checklist works for anyone learning AI at work: write the facts, set the limits, check the output against the source. That habit is what people are hiring for more than any particular tool name. Start with one task you do every week, and run this loop on it for a month.
FAQ
Is it legal to use AI to write listings?
Using a tool to draft text is fine. The accuracy of what you publish, and your registrations, remain your responsibility.
Which tool should I use?
Any chat tool you already trust. The checklist matters more than the brand.
