Bias in itself is a tricky thing. The issue stems from noticing it, you might believe you're thinking completely clearly and logically but there's a chance you're biased because of your perspective, which is a factor of you, your experiences and your environment.
I believe the best way to avoid it is to be knowledgeable, be open to learning and most important, accept you can be wrong.
Ask other people for advice, keep an open mind, and strive for diversity instead of sticking to the same sources of knowledge and connections that we already know.
Personally my approach is to gain as much knowledge as possible. Be limitless this reduces biasness.
