Wonderful job career you have been carrying enclosed with your valuable experience you have achieved in the journey! I am absolute zero beginner enthusiastic to learn from very basic programming, with emphasis on python or the simpler easiest one. I need a guidance how to start and manage my time for learning. Respectfully, Raheem Mikhchi
Thank you very much @rahim_mikhchi_e67da60a33e, welcome to dev.to, congratulations for taking the leap into programming. Yes you can use python since it is a simpler language to checkup and for you to craft the programmer mindset. All the best on your journey.

Hi, my name is Ryo Kitano. I'm from Japan. I'm a first year @ the university of waterloo studying mathematics and computer science. I'm still a complete beginner programmer. I'm currently learning full-stack development!
Fun fact: I've lived in 4 countries: Bangladesh, Azerbaijan, Japan, and Canada!
Hey Ryo! ๐
Iโm Carlos Azurmendi, and Iโm on the journey to becoming an AI SaaS startup founder. Iโve got a real passion for AI, full stack development, and everything tech-related. Itโs awesome to meet you! Your experiences living in four different countries sound incredibleโwhat a unique perspective that must give you!
Welcome to the dev.to community! As someone whoโs also diving into full stack development, I totally get how thrilling (and sometimes a bit daunting) the beginner stage can be. Studying math and computer science at Waterloo is such a solid foundation, and youโre definitely on the right track.
I really encourage you to stay engaged in the communityโshare your progress, ask questions, and donโt be shy about joining discussions. This place is super supportive, and itโs a great environment to learn, grow, and connect with others who are just as passionate as you are.
If you ever want to chat about coding, AI, or even the philosophical aspects of technology, just reach out! Keep pushing forward, and I canโt wait to see all the amazing things youโll create and contribute here! ๐
Cheers,
Carlos

Hi Manuel! ๐ Great to have a data engineering expert here
Hi ๐
I am frontend (mostly) developer. I learnt JS and React through Udemy, and started working 3 years ago. I have no CS background, so I still donโt know a lot.
I wanted to start writing a โlearning in publicโ blog in here. I also really want to connect with the community here and maybe even make friends.
Cheers!
We both have learning in public in common. Welcome Anton!
Hi Anton! Learning in public is such a cool way to grow and connect. Itโs awesome that youโve come so far without a CS background. Looking forward to your blogs and conversations here. Cheers!

Joining this community, I think it will enhance my knowledge in software development. Hope to dive into bootstrap, CSS, JavaScript and the likes.
I hope I will meet tech gurus that will put me on the right tracks to broaden my knowledge
Hello everyone,
So I decided to join the community since there are a lot of interesting articles here and I also wanted to start writing articles to share my knowledge and experiences.
The things that I am interested the most in is C#, SQL and ethical hacking.
Iโm excited to be here in this awesome community! Iโm currently diving deep into cybersecurity, learning about XSS exploits and web application defenses. A fun fact about me is that I love solving complex problems and believe cybersecurity is an essential skill for every developer.
Feel free to reply with a hello or a question! Letโs connect and learn from each other. ๐
Welcome to the community,
Welcome, Marco! Cybersecurity is such a vital skill, and diving into XSS exploits and defenses sounds fascinating. Looking forward to learning and connecting with you here. ๐
Hi guys ๐๐
I'm just beginning college and decided that I need a stable and legal source of income to take care of myself.
So I am now learning coding although I don't know much about it yet. I don't have a teacher, haven't been taught anything on it and this is not what I'm learning in college. From what I have seen in the community, I can see that it's not an easy job but I believe I can still learn and become better at it.
So I hope you guys in the community could support me as I go through the ups and downs of the occupation.
Oh! I forgot to type in my name before ๐
My name's Drex and I am happy to be here with you guys ๐ฅน๐ฅน
Hi Drex! Welcome to the community. Itโs amazing that youโve taken the initiative to start coding. Learning can be tough, but with your determination and the support here, youโll do great. Best of luck on your journey!
Thanks I appreciate it.
Hey everyone ๐๐ฝ. I'm new here. I've read many interesting posts on dev.to, but I never thought to join. I should've joined sooner because this place is packed with really insightful knowledge and experiences of people worldwide.
I'm a frontend developer and I'm looking to make some posts in the coming year. Any tips and tricks are very welcome ๐.
I'm studying assembly language to
link and process cellular chemical mechanical units to mesh with observations in genetic and medicinal lifecycle via test automation.
I've studied CS since 2019 after realizing computers
can solve themselves,
systems are designed so they are practically knowledgeable, and
matter.life.humans are systems of memory.machine | machine.memory.
I'm interested in friendly counteractions, on count of the implication of the above description, and additional opportunities than studying.
My professional background is CAD, PLM in mechanical engineering design contracts since 2012.
Joined Jan 4, 2025.
Hi George! Your work combining assembly language and biology is fascinating, and itโs great to see your unique perspective on systems. Looking forward to learning from your insights!
Thank you @sayed_ali_alkamel.
Hi people. I started to see dev.to posts in daily.dev, and never posted anything. Felt like since I'm a noobie, it'd be pointless to post anything. What value could I possibly add to the community by posting something that other people with many more years under the belt might have already said?
Then again, this creative process of posting stuff is really good and helps me develop as a programmer. It untangles your brain. And dev.to doesn't seem to be like other sites where mods ban your account for eternity if you ask duplicate questions and make you feel little and illiterate.
Well. That's basically it. Thanks. ใใใใใ้กใใใพใ ๐
No matter the seniority or experience level, I truly believe thereโs always something to learn from each other. Sometimes seeing things from the perspective of someone just starting their journey can offer a fresh take or an out-of-the-box solution to a problem.
I agree with @dev_vee. Iโm a big overthinker too - on top of being an introvert. You just have to start and never take feedback personally. Instead, learn from others and use their constructive criticism to grow.
You don't have to overthink it. Be you!
Hey everyone! ๐
Iโm Aiza , an absolute generalist who loves wearing multiple hats! Iโm a web developer, writer, and graphic designerโbasically, I turn ideas into reality with code, words, and visuals.
Iโm super passionate about AI and tech, especially exploring different AI concepts like GANs, NLP, open-source models and Right Now, I am thinking of learning more about AI automation. Iโm always on the hunt for new things to learn and experiment with!
Excited to be part of this community, and Iโd love to connect with anyone who's into AI, business, or creative projects. Letโs build, share, and grow together! ๐
Hi Aiza! ๐ Itโs awesome to see how passionate you are about AI and creativity. Whatโs the most exciting thing youโre experimenting with right now?
Right now, the most exciting thing I am experimenting with is learning about cost-effective AI automation solutions for businesses. I am really curious and looking forward to learn about it.
Hello, i am a fullstack developer, I mainly use TypeScript, React, Postgres and Node/Express for my projects.
Recently I have started exploring DevOps and low level languages such as C, C++, Rust and Go for my future job in tech. I have been lurking this website because it has great tutorials, but finally I have created an account because I was in dire need for a community of developers!
I have already written a few articles on my personal portfolio as part of a blogging platform project I wanted to do, but I can share them here as well. I hope to write and interact with other developers regularly
Hi there, I am a complete beginner. I have never coded in my life. I wish to dedicate some considerable time in 2025 to learning it. I hope being part of this community will motivate me to do so.
First-step suggestions?
Nice to meet you all,
Frederico Machado
Hi Frederico! ๐ Starting with Flutter/Dart is a great choice. Whatโs the first project youโd like to build? ๐
Hi there!
I'm Damian, a software developer with over a decade of experience. I've tried everything during my career - from frontend, through mobile development, to embedded systems. But I eventually settled on my preferred area, and I am currently working as a Python Backend Developer.
Besides being an IT geek, Iโve always been on the lookout for new ideas to start my own side project - something that I could turn into a business and never have to work for anybody ever again. (Or perhaps move out to the countryside and have my herd of alpacas? )
I am a co-founder of DevNourish, together with my wife - who is the driving force behind the research side of the project. Itโs a project that has changed the way I look at my own health. Iโm here to share that knowledge and my journey with fellow devs who want to improve their health - or at least find some enjoyment in following my story.
Anyway, Iโve never posted before and Iโm not really the best at writing. This is me stepping out of my comfort zone. Iโll do my best to share my journey with you. Maybe it will catch your interest, or maybe itโll just become another blob in the dev.to database (Hi DEV team!). Iโm looking forward to learning from you all - Iโve seen some great posts here - and getting constructive feedback to improve over time.
Funny fact:
I am a backend developer.
backend_developer == introvert. True or False?Any introverts here?
Hi Damian! I love your humor and honesty. Looking forward to hearing more about your work

Hey everyone! ๐
Iโm Carlos Azurmendi, and Iโm on a journey to become an AI SaaS startup founder. My passion lies in AI, full stack development, and the never-ending quest for knowledge. Iโm thrilled to be here, diving into the fascinating blend of technology, creativity, and philosophy, and I canโt wait to connect with others who share these interests in the dev.to community.
So, whatโs my motivation for joining? Itโs all about my curiosityโspecifically, how we can harness AI to tackle complex challenges and craft meaningful solutions. Iโm always on the lookout for new insights, whether that means keeping up with the latest in AI, experimenting with full stack projects, or contemplating the philosophical aspects of technology. I love making connections between seemingly unrelated concepts, and I find it incredibly rewarding to relate everything from quantum mechanics to general relativity back to my work in tech.
I consider myself a deep thinker and a creative problem solver, always eager to push boundaries and explore new ideas. If youโre into physics, philosophy, or just excited about the future of AI, Iโd love to chat! Iโm really interested in hearing your thoughts and learning from your experiences.
Hereโs a fun tidbit about me: I can easily lose track of time pondering the nature of reality, whether itโs the quirks of quantum entanglement or the mind-bending ideas surrounding spacetime. This curiosity is what keeps me motivated to learn and create.
Iโm looking forward to engaging with this fantastic community, sharing ideas, and collaborating on some exciting projects. Letโs build the future together! ๐
Donโt hesitate to reach outโIโm always up for a good conversation!
Cheers,

Hi everyone! You can call me CV. I've been around the tech industry for quite a while nowโlet's just say, many moons have passed! Surprisingly, I only discovered this community a few days ago, and I thought, why not join and connect with fellow developers? After reading through some amazing posts, Iโve decided to start contributing my own content next week.
When I first started coding, there werenโt many resources, communities, or tools to guide me. It was a lot of trial and error, testing, and persistence. Stack Overflow was my go-toโthose legendary threads where you might or might not get an answer to your question (but always learned something).
Iโve always loved working on projects that bring joy to others. Iโm excited to share my experiences, offer insights, and help beginners level up in their coding journey. Plus, Iโm sure Iโll learn a lot from this community, too.
Looking forward to meeting you all and diving into this awesome space!
Hi everyone! Iโm excited to join this community. I have a background in engineering and data analytics, and Iโm currently focused on learning more about AWS and its applications in CRM and business optimization. Looking forward to connecting and learning with you all!
Hello ! Let's connect on each other on GitHub!
Hello everyone. Software engineer here from India with little over 8 years of experience in back-end tech - primarily dotnet. Although back-end biased, have got my hands dirty with bit of front-end as well - React. Very excited to be part of the DEV community and looking forward to sharing and learning from everyone here.
Hello ! Let's connect on each other on GitHub!
Hi Everyone! ๐
I'm excited to join this community.
My name is Guru, and I'm passionate about technology, dogs, coffee, new found love for treks and focus on continuous learning.
I'm currently a Software Developer working towards becoming an architect in the tech industry.
This year, I'm focusing on enhancing my skills in cybersecurity, AWS Cloud, Gen AI, Mainframes, and Enterprise Application development.
Do you have any tips for balancing multiple learning goals??
Looking forward to connecting with many of you and sharing valuable insights from our respective journeys!
Hello, true developers!
I'm transitioning from freelance project manager to solo entrepreneur, pursuing projects that truly excite me. My journey with coding spans four decades with a thirty-year gap in the middle. I started as a teen programming Apple II games in machine language and doing some coding in college. I've just recently started up again, building a Salesforce app (which flopped) and creating a RAG-based AI chatbot with custom JS and WordPress plugins on Pinecone.
What excites me now is AI-assisted development and its impact on IT and project management. While online marketing baffles me, coding with AI has rekindled my love for programming and building solutions. It's remarkable how quickly I can build functional solutions, even if they're not perfectly polished...and nobody wants them.
Looking forward to connecting with this community!
Hi Brian! Your journey is so inspiring, from programming on Apple II to diving into AI-assisted development. Itโs amazing to see how your passion for coding has reignited. Excited to see what projects you share with the community!
I have wanted to write my thoughts for a while. I have started a small digital garden of my own, and would like to condense some of the information there and publish it here.
Some of my tech passions are neovim and nix, so I hope to write a few posts regarding both

Hey guys! Just a quick hi! Iโve worked in web development and SEO for 14+ years and I love it. I always wished there was a quicker way to generate a few boring and repetitive things in SEO so I created it. Itโs called onpageseo.ai and if youโre a web dev it may come in handy. Itโs an seo chrome extension.

Hey Dev Community! ๐
I'm Mike, and I'm building HIFORTUNE.ai - a platform that brings together Eastern metaphysics and modern technology. My journey started at the intersection of traditional wisdom and software engineering, and I'm passionate about creating tools that make ancient knowledge more accessible through technology.
Currently, I'm working with Next.js, PostgreSQL, and AI to transform complex BaZi calculations into user-friendly experiences. I love diving deep into both frontend and backend challenges, especially when it comes to optimizing performance and creating intuitive user interfaces.
I'm here to learn from the community, share my experiences with full-stack development, and connect with other developers who are interested in combining traditional wisdom with modern tech. Always excited to discuss anything related to React, Next.js, or the challenges of building AI-powered applications!
Looking forward to engaging with all of you! ๐
