Another installment of Weekly Links, and we are already into February this year which still blows my mind. But so far so good, life is pure chaos with a lot going on, so much so that I don’t know where to start. But your not here for that…
Down to business…
- Azure BluePrint for FedRAMP High : Love these blueprints, and more people should use these. They help implement all the required policies and are far more than just a reference document.
- Zero Trust with Azure – Identity and Access Management : Zero trust is really what cloud security is moving to, and its exciting to see advancements in this.
- Zero Trust with Azure – Security Center : More of the above from another angle.
- How to publish your APIs with new developer portal in API Management : A great new product and great video on how to implement.
- Use Audio on Vision AI Dev Kit : A great video from a friend of mine Kevin Saye on using Audio in IoT Devices.
- How to get started with azure using the Azure Quickstart Center : Great videos on getting started with Azure.
- QnA Maker in Gov : Bots in government are a no brainer for use cases, so cool to see this implementation.
- Stream Analytics in Government : A great tool for creating data paths for azure government.
- Big Data Cluster High Availability : You know there was a point where data warehouses and analytics platforms were considered supplemental to the main systems. But more and more those analytics services are becoming mission critical themselves. So I’ve been loving this movement to bring high availability to big data.
- 10 Recommendations for cloud privacy and security with Ponemon Research : Fascinating read on potential ways to increase cloud privacy and security.
- Trying out Container Tools in Visual Studio 2019 : A great post by Scott Hanselman around the tooling VS2019 provides for containers.
- AKS Beginners Guide : A really great post that outlines some steps for those starting to dip their toe into AKS.
- Top 5 vscode extensions for Azure Developers : Really love these kinds of posts cause I always find a gem I never knew about.
So that’s it, and for fun stuff, I want to throw out the trailer for Locke and Key, very excited for this since we just finished season 3 of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.
