How I Automated My Entire SaaS Marketing Pipeline with AI Prompts

Marketing a SaaS involves dozens of repetitive writing tasks. I built a prompt pipeline that handles them all. Here's the system.

The Pipeline Stages

Stage 1: Keyword Research

Generate 20 long-tail keywords for [PRODUCT] in [NICHE].
Requirements:
- Each keyword: 3-5 words
- Mix of informational and commercial intent
- Include question-based keywords
- Group by: awareness, consideration, decision
Prioritize keywords with lower competition.

Stage 2: Content Outline

Create a blog post outline for [KEYWORD].
Target audience: [PERSONA].
- H1 includes keyword
- 5-7 H2 sections
- Each section: 3 bullet points
- 3 "People also ask" questions
- Internal linking suggestions
- Meta description (155 chars)
Enter fullscreen mode Exit fullscreen mode

Stage 3: Content Draft

Write a [WORD COUNT] word blog post based on this outline: [OUTLINE].
Constraints:
- Conversational tone, not academic
- Short paragraphs (2-3 sentences)
- Include examples and specific numbers
- No fluff or padding
- End with a natural CTA

Stage 4: Social Distribution

Based on this blog post, create:
1. 3 tweets (each under 280 chars, different angles)
2. 1 LinkedIn post (professional tone, under 300 words)
3. 1 Reddit post title + body (community-appropriate, no self-promo language)
4. 1 email subject line + preview text
Blog post: [PASTE]
Enter fullscreen mode Exit fullscreen mode

Stage 5: Email Sequence

Create a 5-email sequence for [PRODUCT].
Email 1: Welcome + first value
Email 2: Quick win
Email 3: Case study / proof
Email 4: Common objection addressed
Email 5: Soft pitch
For each: subject under 50 chars, body under 150 words, one CTA.
Enter fullscreen mode Exit fullscreen mode

Stage 6: Ad Copy

Write ad copy for [PRODUCT] targeting [AUDIENCE].
Formats needed:
- 3 Google Search headlines (30 chars each)
- 2 descriptions (90 chars each)
- 5 Facebook ad variations (different hooks)
- 1 retargeting ad (focus on objection handling)
Enter fullscreen mode Exit fullscreen mode

How to run the pipeline

  1. Run Stage 1 once per quarter to find new keywords
  2. Run Stages 2-3 weekly for each keyword
  3. Run Stage 4 for every piece of content published
  4. Run Stage 5 once, then iterate based on open rates
  5. Run Stage 6 for paid campaigns

The entire pipeline takes about 2 hours per week instead of 15+ hours writing from scratch.
