Professional : Went down one heck of a rabbit hole today. One of the pieces of feedback on the demo I gave yesterday was that being able to have auto refresh when someone makes a change to a file. Tried A LOT of things and almost got there. It's something to do with the server and server stuff always confuses me because I can't actually see what's happening. haha I'm getting a Gateway Timeout error and I don't know if it's a setting on the platform or something else beyond my control. I'll have to ask someone on Monday. So that was my day.
Personal : I was pretty productive last night. I put together the playlist for the radio show on Saturday. Looked at some properties. Worked on the logic for the UI of a side project. Ended the night watching the final episode of "The Umbrella Academy". It was a satisfying ending. I'll probably binge watch all the episodes at once some time in the future.
Thought I would get off of work a little earlier, but that rabbit hole was pretty deep. haha Good thing I did a bunch of stuff last night. I even got some work done on my side project during lunch. Going to finish the last few steps to prep for the radio show. I'm pretty close to getting this side project/tool functionally complete. Once I get it working the way I want, I can then focus on bettering the user experience. There's a new episode of "The Suicide Squad Isekai". Probably end the night watching that. Going to eat dinner, get my steps in and get to work.
