Sunday : Did the Sunday study sessions over at https://untilit.works . Didn't get as much as I wanted to get done, but I got a good amount done. I even got started with putting together the large format 3D printer. It's fine, I'm doing okay with the progress so far. Really trying to wrap things up so I can focus on producing.
Professional : Had a good day. Spoke with my manager about stuff I did last week and what I'm working on this week. I finished up an application I started on Friday and also updated another application and got it merged into the repository. There was also an company-wide all hands meeting. Cool to hear about the stuff happening. Pretty great way to end the first quarter of the year.
Personal : Did some sketches of 3D models for this upcoming project. I also asked AI it's opinion on an idea I had for my company. I wasn't sure about a certain phrase and it researched a bunch of resources and came back with a report along with some alternatives I could use. One was pretty good and I think I'll use it. It fit more with the idea I had. AI has been a great soundboard for my random ideas and get a perspective that I didn't think of.
So, I've been building this large format printer right after work. Totally lost track of time and forgot to do this blog post. I'm watching a video from the manufacturer and I'm constantly rewinding to make sure I don't miss anything. haha Taking it slow to make sure I get it right. Looking to at least get the printer done and work on the enclosure tomorrow so I can start printing. Afterwards I'm going to start modeling the sketches and hopefully get something printed tomorrow while I work on the other printer. That's my plan for this week. 3D print the models I make from the night before and work on building the printers/enclosures during the day. Also, putting together the website where people can order the products this week. Going to get back to working on this printer.
