Professional : Another good day. Had a meeting with my manager. Research and responded to some community questions. Worked on a blog post and some documentation.
Personal : I think I'm in a good spot with the key chain model that I've been working on. Going to print a test print in the colors and filament before printing multiple at a time tomorrow. Next focus is to figure out how I want to split up the box so I can easily print and assemble the pieces. I don't know why I make these things so difficult for myself. To be fair, I thought I would be able to print it on the larger oversize printer. Didn't know that would be a bust. Either way, I'm getting closer to being able to start shipping orders to people. Fingers crossed that the hard days are over.
I've had Google I/O on a second monitor in the background kind of checking out what's coming out, especially in the Web space since that's what I primarily work in. A lot of cool stuff is happening. On the 3D printing front, I've got the new larger format 3D printer printing a test print to make sure everything is good before I change the nozzles to the smaller size and start the 2 days long print that I really need done. Once I get that started, going to go through tracks for the radio show and work on creating some test parts for the 3D box so I can print them out tomorrow and see if they will work. Going to get dinner and get to work.
