Day 1166 : Barriers

liner notes:

  • Professional : Had a meeting postponed. Then there was an all hands meeting so it was cool to hear about what's happening in other parts of the company. Spent the rest of the day working on a presentation, blog post, documentation and responding to community questions.

  • Personal : There's still about 1 day and 20 hours left on this print. This morning, there was some random warning and it paused printing. Had a couple of other false positives during the day, but so far it's going okay. I printed the key chain in the final filament colors. Had to make a few modifications, but I think I finally got it to where it will print and consistently work the way it should. I'll starting printing them in multiples tomorrow.

A dramatic coastline unfolds with towering, verdant green cliffs plunging directly into the brilliant turquoise and deep blue waters of the Pacific Ocean. The cliffs are deeply creased with vertical ridges and valleys, suggesting ancient geological activity and lush vegetation. Along the base of these magnificent formations, narrow strips of white sand beaches are visible where the waves gently lap the shore. The sky above is partially cloudy, adding depth to the aerial view. The location is Kalalau, Hawaii.

While working on this key chain model, I had Google I/O on in the background. There's some pretty cool stuff happening. I'll probably do the same tonight as I work on the box model. Feels like the last of the barriers is coming down so I can finally start shipping orders. I want to start printing the parts for a prototype tomorrow. Oh, and last night, I picked the projects I want to pick up on Bandcamp this week. I'll probably start putting together the social media posts so I can post them on Friday. I'm out. Going to eat dinner and get to work.

Have a great night!

peace piece
