Day 1181 : Lifetime

liner notes:

  • Professional : Had a couple of meetings. I got a chance to do a presentation recapping my work trip to Atlanta last week. Finally submitted some info in a spreadsheet. Put a lot of thought into it and my manager said it looked good to them. The community channel was pretty quiet. Guess folks are taking off for the weekend early! haha.

  • Personal : More 3D printing to get these orders out the door. I think I may have found a way to be able to get one of the models printed faster. It normally takes like 3 days just to print a couple sets on the larger printer. By using a larger nozzle, the time for one came down to about 7 hours for one on the smaller printer. Funny thing is that the difference between the prints is really negligible. Going to send a message to the people who placed an order and see what they want to do. I also went through Bandcamp looking for projects to pick up and also going through tracks for the radio show.

A panoramic coastal landscape at sunset, viewed from a high vantage point overlooking a dramatic cliff. The sun, a fiery orb, dips towards the horizon, casting warm orange and pink hues across the sky and reflecting on the calm ocean waters. The rugged coastline is covered in lush green trees and shrubs, with rocky outcroppings in the foreground adding texture to the scene. The overall impression is one of immense natural beauty and tranquility. The location is Cape Aya, Crimea.

So, I tried to put together a box printed with the new filament and I broke it. I think I'm going to need to be a little more delicate with it and try to line up the pieces together better. I was kind of in a rush because I want to work on getting orders ready to go out on Saturday. I've got the last run of prints for the night printing now. I sent an email to double check the orders and addresses for the packages I got completed this week. I also need to send an email to everyone else letting them know I'm thinking about switching how I print a model to get it done faster so I can get orders out quicker. Otherwise, it feels like it could take a lifetime to get it completed. haha I took a bunch of pictures and screenshots to show the differences in printing time and how similar the prints look. Going to spend some time working on getting the orders ready to ship on Saturday and also, the artist I collaborated with for this project is coming to town on tour and I want to get them some of the other items to take on tour to sell. I also want to pick up the projects on Bandcamp and get the social media posts done. Looking to also work on the playlist for the radio show. Going to eat and get to work!

Have a great night!

peace piece
