Day 1224 : Vibe

liner notes:

  • Saturday : Got to the post office the earliest I ever have with the most packages I've shipped out at one time. Felt pretty accomplished with that goal. Got to the station and before going on air, I tried vibe coding a project. It didn't really go well. Still a frustrating situation. Had a great time doing the radio show though. The recording of this week's show is at https://kNOwBETTERHIPHOP.com

A creative art piece depicting a vinyl record with the tree of life at its center. The grooves of the record are clearly visible, while the label area has been replaced with a vibrant green background from which a tree grows. The tree's lush green leaves fill the top of the center hole, while its thick, dark roots extend outwards onto the black surface of the vinyl. The image is framed by black bars with yellow text that reads

  • Sunday : Even though I had a couple of days off, I was still tired. haha. Got a bunch of stuff done over at https://untilit.works and slept really well. haha

  • Professional : Pretty good day back to work. Had a meeting with my team and it was good to talk with everyone. My meeting with my manager got postponed so I had the rest of the day to work on these Web Components. Made a lot of progress. I think I'll be able to get the MVP done tomorrow and will be able to test them out and refactor some code and styling options. I just want to get them functional right now.

  • Personal : I've got less than 5 orders to make and ship out. Feeling pretty good and "lighter". haha. My focus is starting to switch to new projects and ideas I want to get into.

A dramatic aerial view of a lush, rugged coastline where steep, green mountains plunge into the turquoise and deep blue ocean. The mountains are characterized by their vertical ridges and deep valleys, covered in a dense carpet of tropical foliage. A secluded beach with white sand is visible at the base of the cliffs, where gentle waves lap the shore. The overall impression is one of untouched natural beauty and grandeur. The setting appears to be the Na Pali Coast of Kauai, Hawaii, USA.

The frustrating vibe coded app I mentioned earlier actually had some good parts and I've been refactoring it and got pretty far. I'm going to work on it more tonight and see if I can finish it up. There's only really one more step to get working and it will be a good starting point for the real project that I want to make. I'm using AI in the browser in this test app, but I think for the deployed app, I may have to use a service since the application will ultimately be used on mobile devices and downloading the libraries to do the tasks can be pretty large and may take a while. I'll do some testing and come to a decision later. So yeah, I've got a couple of 3D prints running right now. May call it an early night 3D printing wise so I can do some coding and planning for future projects. I'm out.

Have a great night!

peace piece
