- Saturday : Pretty normal Saturday. Did a little bit of work and then headed to the station. Got to the station, set up and did the show. We had such a good time that we went over by a lot. Sunday : Because I stayed up later than normal because the radio show went longer, I was pretty tired and only really did the base stuff I need to do over at https://untilit.works
Professional : Had a pretty good day today to start of the week. Had a quick team meeting. Responded to a couple of questions from the community. A demo I updated late last year was in a GitHub Codespace, but I guess it was there too long without being re-opened that it looks like it was deleted. No problem. I have a setup script and I just needed to reopen the repository in Codespace and the script runs in the terminal, I enter in some credentials and the application is back up and running. Had lunch and it was time to have my weekly meeting with my manager. I had a lot of stuff to talk about and some demos to show. I also tested the application I just recreated to make sure it works. The other demos all worked. I got the go ahead to start the things I wanted to talk about. After that, there was another meeting and I spent the rest of the day working on one of the projects I want to get done this week.
Personal : This week, there's a few goals I want to get completed. I want to get the design laid out for a 7" vinyl record that I'm looking to release in March so I need to get the order in ASAP. I've got the elements to use, I just need to lay them out, add some text and get the artist's approval. There's also another prototype for an item that my co-host on the radio show hit me up about. I had parts of it ready so I could show them on Saturday, tell them my ideas and get some feedback. A piece I was waiting on was delivered today, so now I can do my measurements, modify the model and start on getting it finished. I also thought of another idea on another market I can reach out to with one of the items I just made. Going to do some research, probably with Google Gemini's Deep Research to come up with an depth plan of action.
I don't know what it is about the beginning of the year, but I'm always focused on finances. I started my business last year in January and planned out ideas on things I could create to generate some income much like I'm doing now, except now, I have a bunch more equipment and experience. I've also been reading and watching videos on retirement strategies, haha. I've been reallocating my contributions based on how the last year went. I learned about a few new types of funds and even something called Securities Backed Lines of Credit. I still need to do more research (maybe I'll have Gemini do some Deep Research and create a report haha). I'll probably have some financial videos in the background while Gemini researches that new market I want to reach out to and maybe some retirement strategies while I work on taking some measurements and modify this model to print tomorrow. Aaaannnnd, my new pair of augmented reality glasses just came in. I'm sure I've said this before but, what a time to be alive.
