Professional : Started the day off with a meeting where I did a demo of a project that worked on late last year. Now was the time to let other folks try and use it so I walked through how to get everything working. Good news is that everything worked! I cleaned up the code on a more recent project and pushed it to the community GitHub repo and verified that it works just like it did in my personal repository. That's good because I'm going to try and demo it in the team meeting. I'll be recording some videos for social media during our team offsite and added my parts to a couple of scripts. I also looked at a WebXR demo using XR Blocks to try and understand the structure so I can add the real-time communication stuff I added to another demo. This one is more complex and it gives me a chance to really understand how things work.
Personal : Did get as much done as I would have liked. I think I was just tired after work. I did some research into trying to add sending transactional emails to my projects.
Since I got the lights up in my shed, I think I'm going to spend a couple of hours after work to work on projects for my business. I made some modifications to the design for the new vinyl project and sent it to the artist. They are in another country so they were able to respond quickly so I think we are good to go and place the order so we can start the vinyl pressing process cause it could take some time. I also did some research into adding transactional emails to my projects so that I know when an order is placed and to let customers know status updates. I'm thinking I may take my research on where I think the code needs to go and feed it into Google's Gemini AI and see if it agrees and maybe integrate it for me so I can get it done quickly. After eating dinner, going to put together tracks for the radio show and go through Bandcamp to see what projects I want to pick up this week.
