Day 1313 : Giving Up

  • Professional : I had a couple of meetings today and replied to some community questions. Then again I went to a journey to get an AI Agent demo up and running. I got to okay to buy some credits for an LLM that one of the demos recommended and made it seem like once you inputted the API Key, it would run with no issue. Nope. I followed the instructions to run it locally and ran into the same issues that I ran into yesterday. I thought maybe it could be because I might be behind a company firewall, I clicked the button to deploy it on the companies infrastructure again and initially the build failed but I clicked redeploy and it built successfully. Still didn't really work. I said "Hello" and it said "Hello" back, but after that, nothing. I checked the API Keys logs and only saw "Hello" even though I sent a bunch of other messages. Then I said "Hello" again and it responded to a message I sent earlier. I'm super close to giving up! haha There's so much extra other stuff added around just trying to get to the AI agents part is convoluting my path to understand it. I wish there was just a basic example. I've been running into version issues of libraries that have nothing to do with the AI agent. Going to see if there is just a start from the ground up coding example.

  • Personal : I went through Bandcamp and picked enough projects for this week and next week when I'm on my work trip. I started putting together the social media post for my pickups. I also worked on some stuff for a couple of projects.

Going to finish putting together the social media posts I'm going to pick up on Bandcamp tomorrow. I'm waiting till tomorrow because it's Bandcamp Friday and the artists will see more money from each sale. I think I may look to see if I can find a basic from the ground up tutorial or something on building an AI agent and see if I can spin up something. I really want to have something working before heading to my work trip next week. We'll see.
