  • Saturday : I was still in Stockholm. Visited a bunch of record shops looking for a specific 7" vinyl and bought way more than I thought. It was a good chance to see the city.   • Sunday : Literally spent all day and some of Monday trying to get from Stockholm to Orlando. Check the story out at https://Dwane.in/Stockholm2026 .

  • Monday : It was a holiday and I basically slept all day to try and rest up the wild ride I had the day before. I did wake up long enough to get some packages ready for shipment and do some laundry.

  • Professional : Back to a "normal" work day after our Offsite in Sweden. Spent some catching up. Had a couple of meetings. Spent most of the day trying to add some functionality to this starter application. This is the reason I'm not a fan of using front end frameworks for sample applications. Trying to do anything besides just getting it running causes all sorts of issues. I think I got the functionality that I want to add working, but I don't know because I've been battling all sorts of random issues with the framework. Due to the way it rerenders elements is causing an infinite loop somewhere. Even using AI hasn't really helped. I'm so far from where I want to be, I may have to scrap the application and start from scratch.

  • Personal : I'm sick. Who would have thought being in sub-freezing weather would get me sick. haha. I've been sneezing a lot and my chest hurts every time I do. Trying to drink a lot of fluids to wash it out of my system.

I ordered a replacement laptop for my old laptop. I basically use it as a desktop now because it won't turn on unless it's plugged in. I noticed that the battery will only go up to 3% now. It works fine other than that. I think I'm going to explore more on what I've been working on at work. I wanted to have more to show my manager for our meeting tomorrow. The road is ruff, but I knew that going in. haha.
