Day 1329 : Next Day

liner notes:

  • Saturday : Had a great time on the radio show again. I think I really hyped that Daylight Savings was the next day. haha The recording of this week's show is at https://kNOwBETTERHIPHOP.com

A colorful map of the Middle East and surrounding regions, including the Mediterranean Sea, Red Sea, Persian Gulf, and Arabian Sea. Major geographic features such as the Taurus Mountains, Zagros Mountains, and Rub' al Khali Desert are labeled. The image is framed by thick black bars with bold yellow text stating

  • Sunday : The first day of Daylight Savings. I made sure to utilize as much of that extra light as possible. haha. Did the normal study sessions at https://untilit.works and got the normal chores done. I also assembled some heavy duty shelves to hold some equipment that I've been meaning to get to, but it's been so dark so early that I've been putting it off.

  • Professional : Started the day off earlier than normal with a meeting. The thing about Daylight Savings is that different parts of the world switch at different times. So for like the next 2 weeks, my meetings will be a different times than normally till my overseas folks get into alignment. It was pretty good meeting. Then my team had a meeting. Then I had some time before the meeting with my manager. During that time, I worked on merging this MCP App I created into one of our MCP Servers. Ran into a couple of issues, but I got it all working except one random issue. Spoke with my manager and agreed that it wasn't really necessary, so I left it out and created a Pull Request. I also got a bunch of stuff done with this coding exercise that I am creating. I need to finish it tomorrow so that a person can test it out and give feedback on Wednesday. There's another part to it, but someone needs to fix something so then I can include it. So the plan is to finish my part in the morning and test it to make sure it works and let other folks on the team know that it is ready. I'll also be testing some additions I added to the platform I made to create the coding exercises.

  • Personal : Been putting in time in the workshop. I moved a couple of 3D printers to the shelves. Been working on the radio show to stay ahead. Also been thinking through the 3D models I'll be prototyping in the coming weeks. Just prepping for the work coming up.

A breathtaking, high-angle landscape of a vast, forested valley at the base of a majestic, snow-capped mountain range. In the foreground, dense green evergreen forests cover the rolling hills, while a wide, braided river plain of light-colored silt and gravel winds through the valley floor. The massive, rugged peaks in the background are partially covered in snow and ice, contrasting with the dark rock of the lower slopes under a bright, clear blue sky with scattered white clouds. The setting is Kluane National Park and Reserve in Yukon, Canada.

Going to work a little on the radio show for this week to maintain my lead. I'm thinking of the 3D models in the back of my head so I may start sketching out some things to get them out of my brain and on to paper/screen. Oh and I finally got a tracking number from the Kickstarter campaign that I thought was a scam. We'll see. I need to make space in the workshop.

Have a great night!

peace piece
