Day 1330 : Energy

liner notes:

  • Professional : Only had a presentation to sit in today. Other than that I finished up creating a tutorial coding exercise that we will be doing some user testing tomorrow. Creating the exercise also allowed me to verify a new feature I added to the creation platform worked. It's going to make creating coding exercises more robust. I started another exercise but only got it as far as I could because I'm relying on someone else to finish up something. I then set up another one that I can knock out tomorrow before our team meeting. Looking forward to seeing a person go through the coding exercise.

  • Personal : Last night, I picked the projects I want to purchase on Bandcamp this week and started putting together a list. I also worked on some 3D models on the computer application and my sketching app.

A low-angle view from a grassy field looking up at a massive, verdant mountain with steep, ribbed ridges that disappear into a soft, hazy sky. In the foreground, several large, rounded trees with dense green canopies are scattered across the landscape, their branches partially bare. The scene is bathed in bright, natural light, emphasizing the dramatic scale of the mountain and the lush, tropical vegetation. The setting is Oahu, Hawaii.

After getting so much done at work, I had a bunch of energy and wanted to move more equipment to the shelves I put together on Sunday. As I rolled the shelves to position it so I can transfer over the machine, I noticed it was rolling smoothly. The wheels buckled under the shelves. Totally zapped any energy I had initially. I am no where near the limit of what the product page said. It's too late to return the shelves and Amazon's support page does everything except actually providing support. It's a FAQ that just loops around and doesn't provide for a way to contact the supplier. I'm going to 3D print a much more robust and sturdier version of the cheap bracket that was included. I'm also going to upgrade the tiny wheels that was sent. If you want it done right... haha. Like I said, I'm exhausted. In addition to the shelves issue, a package that was recently delivered had one of the containers in it open and spill into the box. Even the original box was placed in another by FedEx. So stuff must have fallen out of the box because when I scooped what was left into the open bottle, the level was lower than the other unopened bottles. Going to eat dinner, purchase the projects on Bandcamp, work on the social media posts and maybe do some 3D modelling. I'm out!

Have a great night!

peace piece
